Measurement / SELF-GUIDED
Trace the measurement chain
Follow one outcome from delivery to backend records and identify the first mismatch.
Use a non-sensitive summary. Notes stay in this tab; Save keeps a temporary copy for reloads in this tab. Nothing is sent until you confirm a consultation request.Your question
Choose one completed comparison
Write down the metric, its formula, the affected segment and two equal observation windows.
Check your interpretation. Use the same timezone and allow the same reporting delay in both windows.
If you cannot resolve this check
If the newer window is incomplete, wait for maturity or compare both at the same age.
Trace the same outcome across sources
Compare delivery, attributed conversions, funnel events and backend purchases. Record totals and definitions beside each source.
Check your interpretation. A click, an attributed purchase and a transaction are different records. Compare matching stages, not their raw totals.
If you cannot resolve this check
If identities or dates cannot be aligned, reconcile those fields before interpreting performance.
Separate a reporting break from a real change
Check release and tracking logs around the first divergence. Compare the affected slice with a slice that did not receive that change.
Check your interpretation. Timing supports a hypothesis; it does not prove the release caused the movement.
If you cannot resolve this check
If several changes overlap, record competing explanations and choose one discriminating check.
What would help you move forward?
You can continue with partial observations. Recording a check does not verify its conclusion.
Work with your data
Carry your question and observations into Project Studio. Refine the scope, then use Builder and CSV Analyzer. Sign-in is required.
Keep the next check
Save your observations here or download them for your own work. No CSV rows are attached.
A QUESTION WORTH DISCUSSING
Bring the part you could not resolve.
Describe the difficult part in your notes above. You can ask for a review before finishing every check.
The next page lets you review a free first-consultation request. After sign-in, your notes fill the request; you can edit them before sending. Scope and timing are agreed after review.
